James Newton-Howard will score the new Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The eight-time Oscar nominated composer's previous screen credits include: Pretty Woman, The Sixth Sense, Blood Diamond, Michael Clayton and The Hunger Games trilogy. He also collaborated with Hans Zimmer on the scores for the first two instalments of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

The film sees Eddie Redmayne portray Newt Scamander - an author of one of Harry Potter's Hogwarts text books - and his adventures in New York City 70 years before Harry starts at Hogwarts. The film will be directed by David Yates who directed the final four Harry Potter films. The cast also includes: Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Samantha Morton.
Warner Bros. have scheduled the film to be released on November 18, 2016.
