BAD BREEDING's Debut Album S/T is Streaming on YouTube Now. 

The Stevenage punk outfit first grabbed our attention with a double single: Burn This Flag/Age Of Nothing. We described them as "an angry voice at the forefront of Britsh punk" in an introducing feature. Now the band have finished making their first full-length LP which they have put on YouTube to listen to and download for free.

They are also releasing the album on vinyl, which includes documents detailing what the album is all about.

Death of the Author release Infinity Without Regression

Local band to release new single.

Portsmouth based psychedelic rock trio Death of the Author have revealed that they have finished their new single.

The band – Brad Garland (guitar/lead vocals), Southampton Solent student Billy Higgs (bass) and Brad Dorey (drums) – got together through their love of music and bands such as Sonic Youth, Warpaint, Pixies and Wolf Alice. Since then, they have released a single called Haze in July 2014, and have played a handful of gigs along the south coast and beyond including a set at Southsea Festival and at the Joiners in Southampton. They have caught the eye of record label Strong Island Records who describe the trio as “a tornado of whirling guitars, Death of the Author are an immense sonic assault upon your senses”.

Death of the Author have been in The Park Studios in Waterlooville and have finished adding the final touches to the single entitled “Infinity Without Regression”. They are in the latest batch of bands from the South Coast who have released new material which is a complement to the area and the thriving music scene. Any band who can replicate the bands mentioned would be worth taking the time to listen to and those influences are clear when listening to the single. 

The EP will be released on 1^st November and available for free on Soundcloud.
