Grimes (Claire Boucher) has revealed that she is working on new music just after finishing her fourth album Art Angels which was released last year.
In an interview with Rolling Stone recently, she said: "I'm actually halfway done with a new record. I'm not committing to anything but I have a bunch of b-sides I want to finish. Plus, I've been making a bit of new music."
She went on to suggest that her next release will be a collection a b-sides which were recorded during the making of Art Angels. "You know how Lana Del Rey released Paradise Edition after Born To Die? It would be like that. There are songs I seriously considered for Art Angels, but they fucked with the momentum when I tried to put them on the record." She continued: "This would be more chill vibes, downtempo's and synthy shit."
