In 2015, Damon Albran and Jamie Hewlett talked about the return of Gorillaz with Albarn stating that the group was set to begin recording in September. Today, Hewlett posted two videos of the pair in the studio to Instagram. Previously, Hewlett had said that the group was going to return in 2016.
