Write For Us
Do you want to gain some invaluable writing experience?
If so, The Real Thing is the publication for you. Since mid 2015 the posts on the site have been viewed over 4000 times. Not only do we have a website, but we also have a fanzine which is released on a monthly basis so work isn't just published online. With some more writers on board we could even distribute the fanzines to venues across the UK. The main focus of the site is music and in particular indie but we are open to covering a range of bands. Some of the bands we've interviewed include Peace, The Wombats and Metz. We are looking for enthusiastic writers to write for us!
No experience needed. We want to give as many people the chance to write for us. The role is perfect for journalism students and anyone who wants to get into writing!
The role is unpaid.
