Stone Roses ARE Making New Music

Ian Brown Confirms The News That The Stone Roses
Are Recording New Music

Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has confirmed that the band are recording new music.

Confirming the rumours that the roses were working on the follow up to 1994's The Second Coming. Brown stated "new music will be coming soon" and "the new material is sounding glorious". A release date is yet to be unveiled. Drummer Reni had previously stated that "I can't reveal anything or I'll get my arse kicked". 

This follows on from the tail end of 2015 when the band announced a series of gigs at Manchester's Etihad Stadium for summer 2016 Alongside the announcement that they will headline T In The Park festival in July. The band will also play gigs in across the world including Japan and Ireland. 

The Stone Roses will play:

Nippon Budokan, Tokyo - 2nd June 2016
Nippon Budokan, Tokyo - 3rd June 2016
Marlay Park, Dublin - 9th June 2016
Etihad Stadium, Manchester - 15th June 2016
Etihad Stadium, Manchester - 17th June 2016
Etihad Stadium, Manchester - 18th June 2016
Etihad Stadium, Manchester - 19th June 2016
Madison Square Garden, New York - 30th June 2016
T in the Park, Strathallan Castle - 8th July 2016
